Progesterone Phenolic

Progesterone is a significant female hormone whose effects on the body are well documented.  Inability to utilize progesterone properly leads to symptoms of premenstrual problems of an emotional nature, as well as physical discomfort.  Its neutralization has been helpful with PMS, but diet, exercise and other therapies often have to be included.  Progesterone, in this sense, is probably more effect than cause.

Progesterone, either singly or with estrogen, has been used to balance pubescent girls and ease menopause stresses.  Other phenolics have aided the effectiveness of progesterone, such as GABA and Taurine.
