Bio-Design's Aloe Lax 150 (formerly called Aloe Lite) is similar to Aloe Lax 225, but in a lighter version. Aloe Lax 150 supports digestive health and daily elimination by relieving occasional constipation. It contains the same benefits as Aloe Lax 225, but is formulated for a gentler response.
Each capsule of Aloe Lax 150 contains 150 mg of pure Aloe ferox mill leaf resin, a resinous extract of the skin of the aloe frond. It is a stimulating herbal laxative that works dependably and predictably — within 24 hours, for most individuals. Based on many years of clinical experience, it has been found to work reliably, without unpleasant effects.
Suggested Use: For use as a dietary supplement, for adults and children over 15 years of age, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Take 1 capsule daily, as needed, with a full glass of water. Individuals who have a slow transit time will generally want to take it in the morning, while those with a fast transit time may prefer to take it in the evening. Not recommended for children under 15. Do not exceed recommended amount. Do not take for more than one week, as frequent or prolonged use may result in dependence.

More on suggested usage: Aloe ferox should only be taken one time daily. Generally, it is intended to work overnight and should be taken at bedtime. Initially, while becoming acclimated, it is not abnormal to experience mild intestinal cramping and discomfort. This should cease within a day or two, as a normal daily cycle is established. Some may find it necessary to increase the initial dosage, to establish a normal daily cycle. If so, increase gradually, staying for several days at one level, before adding a capsule. Also, it is advisable to be able to remain at home while acclimating to Aloe ferox. Over time, Aloe ferox tends to require a smaller, not a larger dose, to maintain the benefit. If griping or diarrhea is experienced, reduce the quantity.
Caution: This product contains Aloe ferox (latex), and may produce a laxative effect. Read and follow directions carefully. If you experience a harsh or unpleasant effect, discontinue use and consult with your healthcare professional. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools or abdominal pain, as Aloe ferox may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Not recommended for women in pregnancy or children under 15 years of age.
